Moral of story: Stop spotting opponents 17 point leads in first half, and attack the paint all game. Simply inexcusable to lose to that terrible opponent (even if they have 2 lottery players). Terrible coaching, and something needs to change. Too much talent to lose these games.

We'll get to be the 12 seed that nobody wants to play first weekend!

Silver lining!

I'm done following this team this year unless they somehow make it into the tournament- completely disappointing season- such underachievers given the talent. Supremely ill-advised to start this game and first half jacking up 3 pointers when we suck at making them. It's no fun watching this team give away one game after another.

No excuse losing this game given what happened to Tomi- we were losing anyway before he got hurt.

Is it any coincidence that we went on our run to get into the game with KJ on the bench- for the second game in a row.

So what if this is an away game- Rutgers is a doormat on the league for a reason- they only have 2 good players.
Don’t bother coming back.

Hamer ... Tyler ... Kwa Jones ...

NONE should return as assistant coaches next year ...

UNACCEPTABLE ...

And Brad ... Your seat is officially warm ... Top 10 paid coach ... Top 10 NIL ... Winning every other game ???? 1 deep tournament run in 8 years because TJ carried you there on his back ...

So we’re gonna blame the coach when they lose and give the credit to the players when they win.. makes sense I guess.

I think these teams got enough film on KJ and have figured him out. He may be injured but that shouldn't impact your brain. He still is given too much of a leash for terrible turnovers and poor fouls. We're losing to teams we should be by 10 plus points bc we allow them to gain so much confidence within the game.

You ever think maybe other teams figured out his game and he's not that good?

Embarrassing not just because of the result against a poor team, but because of the incredibly bad plan, execution, mistakes, and failing to learn from the previous game. Remember that last game, Brad? Your guys drove to the basket, cut back door over and again, and we won convincingly. What happened to that? Just pathetic

Just looking ahead at our schedule…

Are we sure we’re not at real risk of being on the bubble after the next 5/6 games?

Play as we have been and we could lose 4-5 of the next 6.
Been shouting this for the past three weeks since USC. We have 5 or 6 more losses staring us in the face, minimum. Not saying we lose them all but it's looking like a real good possibility. If we were to drop all 5 and lose first round of B10 tourney, I just don't see a 17-15 team being good enough. I really don't, and I'm really concerned that may be how it plays out. I can't believe anybody is just assuming we make the tournament after what we've seen in the last 8 games.

Is he really a Top Five pick? Is it the injury that's still bothering him? Does the injury cause horrendous passes in key situations? Does the injury prevent him from driving to the basket more and play within the flow?

Not sure how you don't throw the ball inside 30 times in this game. Rutgers has no answer for that. I put this game on the coaches. Seems like our game plan from the coaching staff is have our bigs out around the top of the key all night even when you have an obvious advantage inside.

Not to sound like the usual “sky is falling” crowd…but I’m honestly not sure this team wins more than 2-3 games the rest of the year. The only game on the schedule I feel confident in winning is Iowa at home, because The Barn is a tough place to play, UCLA isn’t gonna roll over, and the rest of our games are ranked teams. We could easily be 17-14 going into the BTT, with a losing record in conference.

Season isn’t over, and I’m still gonna root for this team every game, but its definitely time to be concerned.
