It's been too long, seat should be nice and toasty. Should be left in Jersey imo. Ayo and TJ basically made mediocre coaching look good.

Luck has absolutely nothing at all to do with this. We have shown up poorly prepared. We look lost on the offensive and defensive ends of the court. That's all poor coaching. Not bad luck.
I don’t know. Harper misses a month and is in a boot and we get his first game back? On a night where we don’t have our best big wing defender? We don’t have Tomi for Maryland? Kasparas clearly not right.

I don’t know why we can’t shoot but it just feels like we have been snake bit since January 1.

My biggest worry right now is if Tomi is out, Kasparas not healthy. Our continued shooting slump etc. Do you see 3 more wins on the schedule?

I want a trade for Chester and Tim. 18-13 to close season if we are lucky. Cannot tolerate the Nepotism in program. Saw it last year and didn't cost us dearly with old players and some bull dogs wearing our uniforms. This is ugly.

As bad as we have looked at times this year we just need to make sure we make the ncaa tourney. We are still very capable of making a 3 or 4 game run. The ceiling is much higher than the team we had a couple of years ago that lost to Arkansas in the first round.

Play almost an entire first half asleep and end the game against a bad Rutgers team 41-40 in the rebounding battle and give up 16 OR's,and untimely TO's.. We're going to lose..

We also gave up 34 FT's to Rutgers, that's fun

Almost 100% of this is based on effort.

That's the worst part of this game and the USC game. We play hard for the whole game and we would've found ways to win the games.

it was getting logistically difficult for me to get to the MSG game against duke but i was thinking of trying to somehow make it but theres no point now with how disinterested the players are... id rather see the the lackluster effort from home
Oh don't tell me we have that game left...

We'll get to be the 12 seed that nobody wants to play first weekend!

Silver lining!

The way we've prepared for games away from AH recently, I don't think too many teams will lose sleep over playing us.

I'll tell you why: very much because Brad Underwood put this roster together in one year.

If guys hadn't developed, I think that would be different.

But this coach says, repeatedly, he intends to win a national championship. He knows the deal, in 2025: every year is a brand new ball game.

And this is his "brand new ball game" roster. This is 100% an issue of wishful thinking (NBA style offense with two-man game to initiate and 3&D guys spaced out wide) with a roster that can't carry out that scheme. I'm not sure an NBA scheme is something 18-20 yr old college players, no matter how skilled, can successfully implement.

I'm so tired of the narrative that "metrics have us as a top-15 team." Breaking News: We're not a top 15 team (right now). We can be, but we're not, and its as simple as that. Re-establish this teams identity and get ready for the toughest stretch of our schedule in late February and March.

We knew this young team would struggle at times - and it seems like we get every teams best shot this season. But its time for us to give other teams our best shot, which we haven't done since Eugene.

Hamer ... Tyler ... Kwa Jones ...

NONE should return as assistant coaches next year ...

UNACCEPTABLE ...

And Brad ... Your seat is officially warm ... Top 10 paid coach ... Top 10 NIL ... Winning every other game ???? 1 deep tournament run in 8 years because TJ carried you there on his back ...

This team has talent but the offensive "system" is so bad it negates it. Just rolling the ball out there and telling guys to "go make plays" is Zook-ish.

And you are right, TSJ played that role well, and Ayo before him. KJ did it for a bit this year. Now it's on Riley. That's not a recipe for success.

Why do people not want to place any blame on the guys wearing the jerseys? It's ok to do that. It wasn't great coaching to come back from 17 down and it wasn't terrible coaching to watch them not get into defensive stances, dig in and get stops.

That's a hard stop.

Truth me told, #32 isn't getting the job done. If you want to single one guy out, which I hate.....there's the guy. Our "best" player has gone missing for coming up on a month. He was supposed to be a lottery pick? He was supposed to be a leader on the floor. Which one has he been?

You can tell that Brad is trying to rip leadership skills out of someone's chest and it's not working. The only alpha is DGL and he doesn't bring enough to the table to harness it.
The effort certainly sucks but when you are saddled with poor or incoherent strategy it’s very difficult to execute. Hard to peg a number but I would say 65% or more if it is on the staff.

This is just my passion as a fan speaking but for those who are saying they will no longer be watching because the team is struggling you are really showing what kind of a supporter you are. Does the team only deserve our support when they are playing well? That kind of entitlement attitude is exactly why our home court sucks.

Reporters asked Brad... He says: "I hope we shoot more. We just gotta go get the misses." Weird strategy.
