Guarantee we lose this.. Minnesota plays with a fire and we think we can just walk in and win with our talent. We will come out flat, get punched in our face again... rinse repeat

Starting to get really concerned we may limp into the tournament

I think there’s a serious case for us being “unlucky” with some of the three misses and game outcomes.

That being said we’re beyond slumping. We’re even beyond having to make a change. We’re about three behind on that front.

Way too much talent to not win this game. Zero excuses. I don’t recall a game more on the coaching staff than this upcoming one. If we lose, it’s all on Brad and the staff regardless of what happens.

We are too talented to not win at least 3 more games. If we end the regular season 18-10 then I think we're safe for making the NCAA tourney. Got to beat Minny.

Yes, I think so too. Unlucky in the decisions our coaching staff made in portal recruiting last April.

And, to be a tad less acerbic, unlucky with what seems to be an ongoing injury to KJ.

Must win game now. Gotta get these next 3 especially. I know a lot of people have, but not giving up on this team yet. I think when Kasparas finds his game again things are going to flip
Wish I could agree, but a lightbulb doesn’t look like it’ll switch on for effort or toughness. And until then, to win we’ll have to simply outshoot the other team … and that won’t last long enough to do anything worthwhile this year.

I'm concerned that KJ has got a habit of crossing halfcourt and then revert to dribbling with his back to the defender wasting shot clock time with no forward progression to the rim.....

I'm concerned that we don't have anyone now being an aggressive leader on the court......

I'm concerned that we are paying Tyler and Hamer $ 250 K each and getting little return of said investment ( salary numbers for each has been posted numerous times here )......

I'm concerned that our 3 point % has nose dived at the worst portion of our schedule and that we are last in the B$G...

I have a lot more concern's about this team , but my main concern is my own mental health and what we face in our remaining season schedule........

Finally , I'm concerned that our ice cream has literally turned to s**t........in a very short time frame......with being nervous on Selection Sunday a distinct possibility................it really really has..................

This team has quite a few flaws, but effort and toughness ain't it. We constantly crash the glass and we have one of the highest tempos in the country. We play hard.

The Illini would be 18-15 in that scenario. There would be a lot of pressure to win at least one in the BTT to feel relatively safe (18-16 feels like first 4 territory if not worse). The loss tonight really hurts because it can now potentially become another quad 2 loss, not to mention it kills any momentum or excitement from fans.

Saturday is now the biggest game of the year, as a loss could lead to the wheels completely falling off before a very rough stretch to close out season.
