Nah that’s not what happened. It’s the opposite actually. Skyy had good things to say about our program and pushed Tre to accept our offer

I don't like the way the roster was constructed at all and I don't like the way that we continue to lose assistants. You build absolutely no cohesiveness operating like this.

Our top 4 rotational pieces are freshmen. I'm counting Tomi as a freshman. We're leaning on KJ, Tomi, Morez and Will. This is a young team and the makeup of the roster is one that he historically doesn't like. He wants an "old" team.

Now, what I'm seeing from some of our insiders is:

1)Change assistants
2)Go overseas again
3)Admit guys were misses after less than a year and run them off.

That's exactly what last off-season was, no?

I am very hopeful about suitors for Brad Underwood. We just won't be able to match, unfortunately. That will be the way forward, I think. Makes me very nervous though.

Morez is fighting and so are KJ and Will, (Tomi has a great heart but fighting his own up hill battle) but the game plan they are given is set up to fail. How does a coach not coach DURING the game? Compared to BU, Lou Do looked like John Beiline on in game adjustments!!! Remember when we complained about that?

I've been saying this for a few years. He's just a used car salesman. Brought a terrible offense. Owes his son credit for bailing him out of that dumpster fire. Talked himself into some decent talent that he ultimately squandered. Got on a few heaters but when coaching matters he gets fleeced. To boot it seems the used car salesman loses the end of his team and players often. A lot of talent and character in the end leaves town.... if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck.

Captain Obvious statement but really needed this one tonight and it was there for the taking. Wisconsin will score 120 if we play D like tonight. And Duke…🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Not a great time for a 3-game losing streak.

You know why we shoot so many 3’s? Because we don’t have an effing offense. Izzo made Brad look like a jr high coach tonight. They actually run something where we just rely on drive and dish. Don’t get me started on our drop defense. Every team we play does a hard hedge and does not give open free throw line jumpers and open drives to the bucket. IU gave us the blueprint to beat MSU but we are too stubborn. Go back to playing DGL and Trey and quit playing Ben 30 fricking minutes a night.

I sure as heck know why, I recall too many press conferences and interviews to count where you said "this team shoots the cover off it" "we shot 30, I wish we shot 50" "keep shooting em" and on and on and on. Or the countless times a player has shot a TERRIBLE 3 early in the shot clock with no movement of the ball and you DO NOTHING. BRAD, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM... TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS AND YOUR COACHING. I didn't think I could possibly get more mad, but somehow I am.

BU is being paid handsomely for his services and it doesn't exactly instill confidence when his response is "wish we had an answer for that". is his health ok? he's mellowed seemingly overnight and too often this season it has seemed like he has no clue what adjustments he needs to make going forward or that he has no answers for how we played

This is unacceptable to me. Kid was a starter, Brad gushed over him for months, now the fans don’t get to know why he’s bench for good?

What else is there to do, though? We don't have a killer recruiting class coming in from HS. I wish we did, but apparently Illinois staff have felt differently.

I’ll just say this and leave.

The TSJ jersey reveal fiasco should’ve been an omen of things to come.

This team is stunted by the in game management and coaching. They will only go far as that. Which is not far at this point.
