Immediate Boswell heat check 3 after Ivisic hits one is an awful decision.
Over achieved and went on a heater and came down to earth. Over hyping isn’t his fault. He needs to learn to play with way better control. Not a one and done by any stretch of the imagination.
No, when you are 0 for whatever and 20 some percent over your last dozen games you adjust to get more short jumpers and shots in the paint. They can't shoot from 3 and teams know it, that is why they are left open. Obviously, it makes it harder to go inside, but you still have to try and manufacture points and get to the line. At some point you have to acknowledge this is not a good 3 point shooting team.
He definitely has muscle. He’s well built for a guy that skipped his senior year of high school
I think Boswell has played him as tough as can be expected.

This team in a nutshell:
1) Our center who is a C+ 3-point shooter finally makes one to get us momentum.
2) Our guard who is a D+ 3-point shooter immediately jacks up and bricks a three the very next possession because now the shots will inevitably start falling!!!!!

Our scheme stinks. Team mates can't buy a bucket because they aren't great at this level. KJ is a pass-first, score-second guy.
KJ's struggles make me mad too. I wish our staff had put together a roster that would work. Or short of that (and we are short of that), they devised a new scheme to try to overcome the appalling recruiting mistakes of last April. Underwood is too attached to his (potentially excellent) vision to make the sort of wrecking-ball adjustments needed.
So we are stuck with his vanity.
