I've been fortunate enough to hang with a lot of the team as well as Venable. I may be crazy (and biased), but they seem to be gelling, and Venable is impressive. I think we could suprise some folks this year.

No joke, it's tough out there. Again, I think this team is young, gelling, and will be a lot of fun to watch. Combine that with the changes happening in Bridgeport and Bronzeville and games should be fun this year.

We're coming back.

I am all in for your optimism!

I grew up a White Sox fan. I will always be a White Sox fan. I just figured there should be more than 4 posts in this thread.

It’s tough being White Sox fan because the franchise has given us so little energy and hope for the past 20 years.

But we are here. And we will be here – at least as long as the team still plays on the Great South Side of Chicago.

Sox fans always respond quickly when the ball club gives any sign of hope. The Sox have had lots of ups-and-downs in their long history (mostly downs) ever since the Sox had that great 17 year run when they were the Go-Go Sox. We fans have suffered way too many downs and not nearly enough success as we should have.

Our hope for 2025 is that we can see that some of the young guys the Sox traded for actually look like good Major Leaguers in the coming season.

Our hopes are low so maybe we will be pleasantly surprised at how the guys look. ‘Cause for this team there is no where to go but UP.

I remember vividly……driving home after the Sox clinched in 85 through Bridgeport……….people in there yards banging on pots and pans………gave me goosebumps for sure.

The impact they have on the community is unbelievable. Their staff are well aware and really trying to lean into it. Let’s hope they stay put and we go on a tear!

Looks like the White Sox have found their new owner.

If true.. for the first time in over 40 years the Sox organization and Sox fans have cause for real optimism.

Right now, this feels as good as 2005 did.

In the words of a former Sox announcer... ‘It might be! It could be! It IS!!’

If anyone is considering going to Opening Day, note that we just announced Bone Thugs and Harmony playing after. Should make for a fun (and long) day.
