Since mid January Michigan has been playing like the 10th best team in the league. The wins are hiding the truth. Per Torvik they have been worse than us, Indiana, and NW.

But yet they keep finding ways to win. That should count for something.

Lotta first year coaches have a hard time in subsequent years --you just don't know until you see more. Give him credit --they've exceeded expectations nicely this year. A little winning should help their NIL.

Burnett made a 25 footer where he had a split second to release the ball. So Rutgers probably thinks that was good defense. But if I was coach I’d have told my guys to stay attached to their guys and made whoever catches the inbound go score off the dribble.

Kick outs are easier shots to make than hitting a jumper off the dribble. I’d have made Wolf make a 17 footer with a guy up on him than Burnett shooting an open 25 footer

That was a hell of a shot but Harper did get caught a little bit flat footed and ball watching. In that situation I think your best best is to step up and deny the pass before crashing down.

I know Sommerville didn't want to foul but he also got caught in a pretty bad spot.

Unfortunately but the two best coaches getting the most out of their talent are Pearl & Sampson. I wonder what would have happened if Kelvin got the Illinois job in 2003 instead of Weber?
