If this is indeed the end for Fran...
I would like to thank him for some legendary battles against the Illini. Iowa from 2019-2022 was top competition. Luka Garza, Jordan Bohannon, CJ Frederick, Joe Wieskamp, the Murray brothers, and more I'm sure I'm forgetting. All excellent players and led by a coach even more volatile than Brad.

At least you could shoot them at about noon when it's "warmest" and still see them. #optimist

DeVries brother is a legend in Iowa City. Not sure if that plays into anything at all, but I suspect he'd get a long leash if he went there. That's Iowa's MO regardless, but having your brother be a star football player can't hurt.

No more FranCom pictures. I wonder if he will hang it up. Will miss his look on the sidelines.

All that being said … NC State reportedly is trying to shut this down IMMEDIATELY and has already started securing more funds to show Will their commitment and they will be meeting for a second time tomorrow I’m told …

They did meet yesterday for a while and it went well, Will had a couple issues, and they’re working on it …

At this point … I think they’ll pony up and Will Wade will have ELITE resources and a quick message to Hubert Davis … Good luck …

DeVries whole family lives in Iowa … It’s sort of a no brainer as long as they can give him some more NIL …

Seeing Chester wearing Iowa gear though … I don’t know if I’ll be able to stomach that …
