What's the fewest points a 5 seed has ever had in the big dance?
Clemson with 13 has to be close
Clemson with 13 has to be close
My bracket is completely busted already. Can't believe I had this Clemson team in the S16! They look horrible!
Clemson was tricky because they did beat Kentucky and Duke, but also were in the ACC and McNeese State is probably the best 12 seed, so it's not a complete surprise to see a 5-12 upset there....But how about Clemson?
Hope Will hasn't signed anything yet. He's going to get some more attention, and more strong-!!! offers in the carousel after this game.Love the effort from McNeese State on the defensive end and rebounding. Not likely they can do it two games in a row, but it only has to work now....and it is. They smell blood and Clemson smells like sh...t.
Thanks; I didn't realize that. RIP. I have fond memories of being a little kid watching those Digger ND teams in the early/mid-'70s. Shumate, Dantley, then later Laimbeer. I remember they upset UCLA one of those seasons. Saturday afternoon game in the dead of winter. NBC game of the week. Funny the snippets of childhood you remember.Looking at his bio on the McNeese website, I'm guessing it's probably grandson. Also John Shumate passed away last month at the age of 72
Clemson 1 for 16, down 22McNeese is shooting 2/10 from 3pt and still up 20
SEC not exactly lighting the world on fire early in this tournament. Texas blowing things bad last night, Auburn took over a half to really get things rolling in their 1-16 game, now Georgia getting dog-walked by Gonzaga (and if I'm Houston, I'm kind of concerned).Talking about Georgia's schedule preparing them for the tournament while they're down 13-0.
