I picked Akron. Maybe more of a heart pick with Groce, but I’ve said for two months Akron could be a problem for a higher seed.

Wouldn’t it be a flagrant if the Vandy player fully grabbed his arm for that foul (while yanking him to the ground), knowing there was no ball contact at all?

Saint Mary's wins. If VCU hadn't wasted their final TO they could have drawn up a better shot for the 3. That's why you don't want to waste your timeouts.

This is his best team that he's had at Akron so it's possible. Arizona has lost some games (West Virginia, Oklahoma, @Kansas State) that they probably shouldn't have. I'll always respect and like Groce. It's just his place is somewhere like the MAC and not the Big Ten.
