If the roster stays as it is right now, I think we're fine with Boswell and Petrovic filling 99% of the PG role between them. Rodgers and Stojakovic (oh and maybe Lee too) could probably cover that last 1% in a pinch. How do you figure? Still don’t have a backup PG.
We basically have Boswell and a bunch of tall SF/PF/C types.
They’ve got a plan … They’re still very active …
Brad’s not quite done cooking yet …

I doubt it will ever get to this with Tomi, but if he were to play three seasons here, I could easily see him challenging for his first year back and winning. I suspect he’ll be in the League soon, though. And with the way the NCAA is now treating non-NCAA seasons, Humrichous might very well have two years left.
Also, if Tomi had a year of eligibility taken away for his Euro experience, I guess we'd expect the same for Mirkovic who's experience is about the same?
The NCAA treating European pro eligibility as a shades-of-gray negotiation of class status rather than black-and-white is going to radically change college basketball.
Chief Illiniwek is very happyHow I see it as of now:
Petrovic
Boswell
Stojacovic
Mirkovic

6'6" 13.1 Pts 9.0 Reb 4.1 Ast 1.3 Blk 1.8 Stl, he graduated from high school in 2020 and he probably still has two years left to play. That's a nice asset.![]()

Baby Billy’s Balkan Busters!
Look out Arkansas Little Rock.Ben will be a 38 to 42 percent 3 point shooter this year... I got a feeling 1 game he will drop 8 3s

I just hope Brad plays more than 7 or 8 people in a game even if some only get 5 to 7 minutes. It appears we will have more talent than last year.I think it more so contextualizes the 24-25 roster and recruiting. A player who is the 9th or 10th guy this year was a starter on a team last year that was believed to be Elite. IF this team is a top 10 team then it contextualizes both teams.
No, he's got a huge upside as a player, but there's absolutely no fit there.i dont think fland coming here to not start.
Agree ball handling and fewer turnovers will be massively better. IMO better ball handling will lead to better offensive execution. Like this version of Illinois MBBBall handling on this team will be massively improved and it was already pretty darn good. Understated aspect of this roster.
Defense concerns me, but I’m hopeful.

Brad is really the best lmfao
I think you might have forgotten about Petrovic. There have been so many adds, easy to do. He'll play an huge role this year. He'll definitely be needed. How do you figure? Still don’t have a backup PG.
