He did as good of a job against TKR as Tomi. Think he learned a lot about leverage in defense during the year.

Less pro upside, will be a better college player than KJ. Loved KJ and 1 and dones like him help the program tremendously but this roster is set up for success. If the defense lacks athleticism, we simply need a strong defensive coordinator on staff... Luckily we have ....

Yeah the Humrichous discourse this season was really something. Couldn’t help but notice while doing spreadsheet things that his advanced stats last year were similar to soph Ty Rodgers who was a starter on an E8 team and a guy everyone loved (but who also has a very glaring hole in his game, all the same).

I think Ty Rodgers is going to be very happy that he took the redshirt last year. 3 reasons why:
1. Can be a leader and key contributor on a FF team.
2. He got an extra year of NIL opportunity, and the market is wayyyy stronger than last year.
3. He grew as a team leader last year. Very good for future coaching opportunities.

Smart move, young man!

This seems like the best place to put this: on the Cal board, they call Stojakovic “Stojakobrick.” I guess one guy’s ic’ is another man’s brick. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Wish #2: Stop the "counting" exercise when a new thread is posted. I can almost hear the voice of Dr. Rick from the Progressive commercials saying "Stop. We already know how to count". There is a time and a place for Sesame Street, and I'm not sure this is it.
Wish #3: Stop putting "IC" on the end of every Illini player name. If we get a handful of Russian Players and I start seeing Boswellov or Rodgersov on here, I might need therapy.

It's Monday. I'll choose to focus on Wish #1!
