UNLV coming on strong this morning at -7 on the day. Jackson is even par but the rest of the team has stepped up to put Illinois -6 so far on the day.

UNC might need a miracle to stay in it. Already +1 on the day and they're not even all out of the clubhouse yet.

A strange sight: while it's still early, as of now, Jackson Buchanan's score will not factor into today's results. He sits at +1 after bogeying 6 and is tied atop the individual leaderboard at -7 with Caden Fiorini of UNLV.

Of course, as I say that, Birdwell doubles on 9 and Jackson is back in for the wrong reasons.

UNC has time only 7 strokes out of 5th. Starting on the back is hard, if they can stay afloat heading into the front this could be a moving day for them

This Scoreboard format is sort of dumb. In a game where 4 out of 5 scores each day count, why is there no "today's score" showing?
What I mean by this is that I cannot find a score for each for golfer individually for Round 2.
I can see their 2 day total . . . if they played both days . . . or n/a if they didn't play yesterday.
They are really set up to follow the individual championship, but not the team score in any detail.
Yet, they list themselves as "the home of college golf"
Hmmm, fails my sniff test.

There's a clear top 5 established now. UNC is lurking. LB State and NC State are fading. Marquette is on the struggle bus. Jackson back to even part to keep us three strokes up.

If I click over to player leaderboard, I can scroll down and see each Illini’s place, score for each day, and total. It’s definitely not as easy or nice as the golf stat format though…

The day total is on the far right by golfer. At the top there is team total, round 1 and round 2 results

All you have to do is tap on each team and it shows each individuals hole by hole scores.

If you’re on a laptop, just click the arrow next to each teams name on the left-hand side.

I don’t think they played at all yesterday due to weather. This is their first round. Based on the weather app it looks like it could be snowing.

Just a rough day for almost everyone out there. Only three teams managed to card scores under par. Illinois still with a three stroke lead over OK State and UNLV. Come out strong tomorrow and bring this regional home.

Illini didn't play the par 5's very well...
made some unforced errors. Marrion did eagle one of them which really helped. If they can limit the big mistakes(water hazards) they should win this thing.

They couldn’t tee off the first day until 4 pm cause of wind. Winds were over 30-40mph

How long is a player allowed to wait on a shot like that^^^? Is there a time limit by the rules?

This morning it was cold and drizzling, with light winds. Yesterday the wind was crazy, with a semi getting blown over on the freeway. Where are they playing? NV HS Championships are at Red Hawk yesterday and today.

Being 14 strokes clear of the cut line we are all but through, which is job one. Getting the Dub is nice and always good to be in form heading into a championship, but really isn't important in the grand scheme of things, still would be nice.

Big storylines for me is Jackson and the individual title, would be massive for his PGA U rankings. Late stumble hurt him +3 on the final 4 holes. Big big day for him.

Other big story is NC on the verge of elimination. Despite a solid but not spectacular +1 yesterday they are still 10 off of Troy who shot even on the day and really held their ground. NC doesn't have a lot of teams to jump but are farther behind 5th then they started the second round. Would be a massive upset if Troy holds on to a spot.
