Book on us is to bring the house and it’s worked in the first half against us the last 2 weeks. When we finally neutralize the blitz with quick screens, then our running game gets going, which in turn opens up our downfield passing.
Next week we will need to ready for this from the very first snap.

This has all the makings of a season defining game. Difficult to accurately gauge how good Indiana is while demolishing cupcakes, but they will be brimming with confidence after all the lopsided scores.
Illinois will have to match their intensity from the opening snap. Have to think Bret will have them ready.

Brimming with confidence but how do they respond to adversity.

Indiana opens at -4.5...seems fair. I really don't know what to expect next weekend.
Scoresandodds has us +3. Tough to gauge IU given how weak the schedule. How many guys return from last year for them?

Ohio vs Ohio St was very similar to ours tonight vs a team from the Broncos Conference. This team tonightand last week's too is better than any meaningless opponent that IU has played.

I just googled it. IU only returns 8 starters from.last year so. It's tough to judge based on who played really how good they really are.

This will be a tough one, but Illinois will win and cover. I think they've been holding back a bit these first few games to keep a few things close to the chest. Defense will have a big game; will stop Indiana on 4th down to close out the game. Altmeyer throws his first interception on a deep ball, but also a couple TDs.

Illinois over Indiana, 31-24. Book it.
