The Badgers had a style that was all their own and was extraordinarily successful with it for three decades. Barry Alvarez saw the unique makeup of the kids that grew up in Wisconsin and created a system tailored to them. Fickel has tried to make Wisconsin something it’s not.

Hunter’s speech last week shows that donors are not willing to spend less on baseball, basketball, and track to properly fund the football program (compared to their peers). I can’t imagine Lashlee leaving a place that will ruthlessly spend $$$ on football over anything else for a school that won’t.

The person who takes the Arkansas job is going to be an up-and-comer (current P4 OC) that sees this as finally their break or a veteran coach that knows it’s very likely they are fired and given $20 million to be blamed for institutional shortcomings.

After that beatdown Indiana gave us, and coach B remarking that 'we just didn't have any answers', I highly doubt that BLj is on anyone's short list ... Now if (huge IF) we should win out then things might change, but I really don't see that on anyone's bingo cards... lol.... Besides, even BLj knows that winning at Arkansas means you're a baseball, basketball, or track coach - NOT a football coach..

Would he want to be OC for Arkansas if Traylor takes the job or be interested in the UTSA job if it opens? Or is he satisfied being the OC here?
