I think Purdue is a lower-middle big 10 team, Illinois is an upper-middle big 10 team. If the teams are ‘in the middle’ anything can happen.

I think you are giving Purdue a little too much credit calling them a lower middle BT team. They are looking at a 11 game BT losing streak and counting. I think the are squarely in the bottom few teams in the BT
