What a phenomenal way to play these final 4 minutes of the half. Absolutely love this.
Hell of a drive.
Beautiful play call. Somehow stop them with the 30 seconds left, get the ball at half, march down and score a TD and I think it's game, set, match. Let's do it!
Block by Feagin after the play action only thing that allows this TD to happen. Massive!
I also like putting Jacas in situations where he just has to put his head down and rush the passer
Seriously, this was the most important defensive series of the season to end the half and go in. Way to go fellas!!!!! Now build on this!
Come out of half and and make it 28-6!
AND we get the ball to start the 3rd!

First time this season I haven't been even mildly peeved by the announcers going into halftime. Helps that we're winning I'm sure.
Luke should never have to buy a beer or pay for a meal in Champaign ever again. We are in the presence of greatness, so glad he gambled on leaving his dream school (Ole Miss) after 2 seasons, packing up and heading north, and choosing to bring his talents to the Illini. Then, turning down huge NIL money to transfer this year, he chose to come back and lead the Illini with grit, determination, skill, and a fierce will to win. Easily one of my favorite Illini of all time.
Someone explain to me why Luke doesn't get a Covid year? He threw 8 pass and 20 pass first two seasons. I want Lukey back.
