Lots of skills on this Illini team...not sure how much fight in the Fighting Illini. Much to learn about competing with top tier teams. UConn is at home of course, but you have to fight and claw at every opportunity to stay with them....and hit shots if the moment is not too big for you.

All these threes hitting the front of the rim shows a tremendous lack of understanding how to shoot from the arc. Don't aim it...shoot it and chase it if you can. Thinking about it, measuring it, releasing it softly and with care....none of that works as the mind gets involved instead of letting your training go to work.

Can’t shoot. Can’t defend. No coaching adjustments. Hopefully they enjoyed their all expense paid trip to the big apple for thanksgiving holiday.

People got on him for being "abusive" then. Now, he's too easy on them. He knows his guys and he knows what they can handle and not handle. Watching Petrovic throw his little tantrum vs UTGVS(or whatever) doesn't give off the vibe that they'll react well to a ferocious approach.

I guess I'm hoping for a final score with us within one in the tens place (keep them to the eighties, and get us into the seventies)

I'll also continue to say it. I cannot stand Dan Hurley. He's a major, major jack@$$. But his offensive scheme is excellent. I don't understand how Underwood can watch the video of this game, see one team that is constantly in motion and running screens to get guys open, see another team be slow and stagnant waiting to jack up another 27-foot contested 3, and think to himself "Yep, we need to keep doing things our way."

I get a lot of what Illinois wants to do is predicated on what we see in the NBA. But this isn't the NBA. You just can't park two guys in the corners and hope you get hot from 3. You have to figure out how to get guys open.

Why is it that TT, Bama, UConn, (insert next team here) can effective run their offense and get good looks all game (and convert) , and we turn into 1:1 iso ball and hope a single player can put us on his back?

Where is this super-genius offense coaching staff that we are so lucky to have?

So far, for sure, Purdue, MSU and Michigan are better than us. Haven’t watched anyone else from the big 18.

It kills me how off the deep end sometimes many of you guys go off tge deep end. Some of the arm chair stuff kills me how everything is falling apart. It's not. Some of you must not have ever played. Droughts happen. I recall a stretch were harper went 1 of 17. These guys will come together and make shots. UCONN isn't keeping them from getting good looks. Shot falling changes everything .
