And we beat Valpo at home in 2023 at home in the blues.
I’ll die on the hill that we should never wear navy at home just because we can. I find it so jarring and frankly cringe when the away team is in white for basketball … it just screams that the home team is trying some color-related gimmick.

Stick with tradition:

- White at home or neutral (especially the UC)
- Navy on the road or neutral (especially situations like UConn at MSG or Tennessee in Nashville)
- Orange anywhere and everywhere, as often as we want, so long as the other team’s colors don’t make it logically impossible

OK, that was a HUGE win!!! it forms our direction. Looking ahead we a are favorable until at Purdue (9 games). Screw them (or the F-word) Purdue. OK Michigan is scary, screw them too.

LOL.

I'd like to see a thread exist around a game without incessant rambling about the officiating.

I beg of you. Get your license and start to ref some youth games. You'll see the game entirely differently.

I also don't prefer to see so many fouls called. But I blame the current state of the game. Players are encouraged to play aggressively and put the officials in a place to make calls. Then everyone is either mad they didn't call enough or angry they called too many.

Yes. Also, audio issues with the lead PBP guy sounding like the president of the local AV Club and Evan Turner in the studio sounding like he was sucking down helium.

Seems like recruiting services just missed on Wagler. His only Visits were Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado State, Southern Illinois, Murray State.

Good scouting work by the Staff imo

Did he not play AAU ball or not go to summer camps or something? Or maybe play center for an undersized team? Cus you don’t often see complete whiffs like this for a kid who was on two state champ teams from a big metro area in the heart of basketball country.

Oh I agree. I was just adding another win in the jerseys that didn’t get mentioned. I also hate wearing navy against a team like UConn who has it as one of their main colors.

Atta boy!!.....that great news...in case you missed the game tonight....it was a classic win...great free throw shooting carried the beloved to the victory.....and quite possibly one of the worst officiated games I've seen in my lifetime.....High stepping JA, and DJ bald guy had to break out their spare replacement whistles in the 2nd half....they really really did!

What do you think Bill Self is thinking right now letting Keaton Wagler out of his state and not even offering him a scholarship

His D on Thornton was quite good, IMO which was critical at the time with Boz in foul trouble and I think he hit ALL of his free throws
Yes his length and being just quick enough to stay close to Thornton kept him in check. Not very often we need to take Boswell off of somebody because he cant gaurd them but that was the case tonight.

Andrej was much more in the flow of the offense today, which was great to see

If we can get Kylan and Andrej going from 3 on those wide open kickouts - that will unlock a new level
What has Kylan's 3 point percentage been so far this year? Feels like less than 20%. I had hoped he would continue his improvement from the end of last year from the 3.
