if staff thinks Boyd is the guy (in '27), then Houser is the best fit, as he's a 1 year bridge to Boyd.

yeah, Clayton's gonna have an opportunity to pass Boyd, but am not counting on it

Good kickers were getting a little more than $100k last year, so going rate for an elite kicker with another year of eligibility for next season could be ~$250k? Knowing that a disappointing year could destroy your NFL career, I get wanting to cash a check.
