People will complain but that was a good win. Minnesota actually played very well and the officiating was fair but loose which is to Minnesota’s advantage. We played great and won. Ben and Andrej were cold from 3 but were taking good shots. The Ivisic bros were nailing their 3s to offset that.
Z continues to demand more minutes. Petro able to give you more too.

I can't imagine how any team would like to play us with the scorers and options we have. Tough to scout. Great offensive rebounding. Seeing Petrovic come in and contribute was a plus.

Well that was certainly a game that happened. MVP to Big Z for keeping us in it in the first half.
It was only 6 minutes, but HUGE shoutout to Petro. His effort and tenacity helped stabilize what was looking like a horrible end to the 1st half.
Hope this is the launching point to start to rotate him in more. Awesome stuff.

People that post stuff like this just do not watch college basketball. There is no way someone could have this belief and watch other top 15 teams play.
Hard to nitpick on a team that just keeps winning. Sure, I'd love Andrej to score more, yes I'd love Tomi to score a bit more too but not everyone can score 25 ppg every night. Also nice to see Petro get some productive minutes. If we unlock his ability to have a quick 6-0 run on his own in a game where we need one, this teams ceiling is so much higher.
Will have to check but did we even see Ben in the 2nd half?

Shot clock operator and scorer's table really fought through adversity today. As for the basketball team, not a pretty win but I'll take it. We lost plenty of games like this during the lost decade. Go Illini!

Z was phenomenal. Why isn’t he in down the stretch in a tightly contested game? At least we didn’t give up layups.

Andej played within the system and defended on occasions.
