Matt Painter's presser is very interesting. He talks about how they really didn't want to hedge or deny Wagler bc it gets them scrambling and into rotations, but they eventually had to bc Wagler was just killing them... and when they did, and did get into rotations, we also kiled them bc we had open shooters everywhere.
I think the most amazing thing is Wagler's PG ability as such a youngin', bc what I think Painter is saying is you're sorta damned if you do, damned if you don't against our offense.
This to me spells a deep tourney run, provided we don't have an absolutely abysmal shooting game -- but even then, we have guys who can get their own in Andre, Kylan, Wagler, our post up game, etc.
Today was some kind of statement.
