Illinois #8 in 2/9 AP Poll

[Dan]

Welcome to the Polls Thread

[Second place is 1st loser]

I say......#7.

[logjam]

#8

[Vinegarben]

I say Duke, Uconn and the Illini should stay put but I know the pollsters will drop the Illini farther than either Duke or Uconn

[Dr Copejam]

67

[joeybcrazy13]

9

[awkwardpenguin]

I think we'll get passed by iowa state, and houston. Michigan State might jump us too. I'll say 8

[Illinisnake]

Knowing how they treat the Illini in the polls, I am going 11

Add Nebby to that list...#9 is where I guess we wind up.

Michigan State better not jump us. They were completely outclassed by Minnesota earlier in the week.

[BBlock24]

8 or 9 with MSU moving ahead. (Barf)

[derrick6]

No way MSU passes us.

[NarrowJ]

MSU shouldn't pass us, imo... they lost to Minnesota too... hopefully a bunch of voters aren't ignoring that

seriously!

-we lose @#10 MSU in OT, and in the same week kill the kitties at home by 40, and we drop 3 spots.
-doook loses @#14 UNC by 3, and in the same week beats BC at home by 18, and they do not move.

Someone explain please.

[kmunt09]

It's that 4 in the loss column that causes us issues, whether right or wrong.

Going 4-0 against Wisc, Ind, USC, and UCLA would be incredibly impressive, regardless.

[Rebounding Dog]

Looks about right and about what I expected.

Cue the GIF: "Forget it, Jake: it's Chinatown."

We moved up to #4 in KenPom. That's what matters.

Don't leave out MSU losing to Minnesota and staying #10.
