I have zero idea whether he has developed his jumper in his time away, but plenty of people on here thought Morez couldn't shoot either. I for one would like to find out.

Indiana has played 2 top 15 teams on the road this year:

Michigan - they were down 25 (lost 86-72)

Michigan State- were down 26 (lost 81-60)

I think Illinois handles them easily. IU last game they shot 60/40/78. They are due to regress and I think our much bigger team will bother their shooters

It was better than it has been for some of the games that haven't been very competitive.

But the crowd did not meet the moment in terms of what the team needed from them in a game that went down to the final buzzer.
I tried to do my part. For what it's worth, I was yelling to quit giving up uncontested threes with a 12-point lead and under 8 minutes to play. Apparently no one heard me.

They have an outstanding guard and they shoot well from deep. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?

Good luck with that. Maybe start with trying to keep them off their phones in class.

There is validity to this imo. I went 2 weeks ago. Hadn’t been to a home game in a few years and I was struck at how little the pep band performs. It was a lot of club music that really isn’t arena hype music. It sort of had the feel of a minor league baseball game with all the promo spots and contests during the timeouts.

I cringe every time I hear the PA guy yell
I-L-L.

Also cringey is the stupid cash register sound after a made free throw.
Heck, they can't even let the 5 seconds of a dead ball out of bounds happen without that stupid techno drum beat over the PA.

I was absolutely jealous of what I saw at Mackey, Nebraska, and MSU.

My hope would be their guards don’t get downhill nearly as much.

Collapsing the defense and kicking out for 3 like Boyd/Blackwell, Fears, Philon, and Smith have done are very different than standstill stuff.

That cash register sound is literally from Quicken circa early 2000's. Lol.

Can we please have ONE properly officiated college basketball game?

Or a poorly officiated one that is heavily biased towards Illinois.

Someone needs to tell the students in the Orange Krush section to stay off their phones during the game. It is pitiful to watch everyone texting their friends instead of watching and cheering. Maybe they should ban phones in the section during game!

Let’s put a drop ceiling in to make SFC louder and build it out of aluminum to block cell coverage. A win-win.

Please get right for this game. Bam back, maybe AS too…need to get back to at least 7 in the rotation.

I hate Indiana. DeVries runs like a 12 y.o. girl.

Mackey, yes.
PBA is soulless.
