Brad's coaching prowess on full display. Does he think this is the NCAA tournament or something? Another huge lead blown that ends in OT loss. Figure it out. We're fun to watch but Jayzuz. That's just brutal.

For a #4 seed level team, making the Sweet Sixteen is a “job well done,” and anything beyond is great. For a #3 seed, it’s more like Sweet Sixteen is the par, Elite Eight is great.

We are at least a #3 seed, and if this team loses in the Second Round, let’s not delude ourselves into thinking it isn’t a bad choke.

Z has to be standing at the top of the restricted area and form a wall at the basket. Make dent either shoot a floater over him or dribble around him. He probably misses the floater and probably runs out of time if he has to take one more dribble. Z was out of position. Can’t happen.

Hindsight, but yes, it was obvious a few baskets in that Tomo didn't have it and Z was needed. Can't rebound makes.

With that said, refs called fouls on EVERY hint of defense. Very tough to know what the hell to do. It's unlikely to matter when it comes down to it. No better than 2nd in conference, so I don't care. Hopefully we can have an excusable early exit in the BTT without falling to a 4-seed, rest up, and be ready for the tournament.

There is only a few options in that scenario for UCLA. Brad you gotta tell Bam to stay with Dent the whole way down the court. Instead they all just kinda passed him off in coverage hoping the next guy would stop him and nobody did. Just let him waltz down and lay it up easily very frustrating and concerning coaching in that scenario.

Honestly credit to dent and Cronin the final play. It’s an epidemic of players and coaches settling for outside shots (as dent did in regulation) when the clock winds down.

Everyone can say how easy it is to just stop the ball, but when the team is in the bonus, and the guard is quick, it’s not some easy thing to do.

Especially if the defense is spread up and down the floor. Protect the basket!

Absolutely pathetic, inexcusable loss. Complete and utter no show by Mirk. 0 blame on the refs- we own that loss completely. Underwood and the boys all deserve full credit for blowing that game. Adios 2 seed, hello 3 seed. 0 chance we beat Michigan.

We gave up a freakin layup to lose the game- just insane.

Second half, last minute of game….clock stops on a made shot. The clock kept running for some reason….operator error. Maybe it was the Illinois clock operator.

It's nice to know that they're some level-headed thinkers on here right after a loss. 7 pages in and it's all doom and gloom. I guess we should just forfeit the rest of the games and "wait until next year"?

Won't have B10 refs to worry about. Can just go play. Staff can coach us through that.

Anything can happen in the tournament. Just need a few things to go right and one guy (probably Wagler) to get exceptionally hot, and boom. We're suddenly in the FF.

But you're right. Another second round whimper would be a grave disappointment.
