Any thoughts on info on the recruitment of Camryn Wagner of St. Joe?
I have no patience with these verbal Illini who who use the school for social media clicks and all the free stuff the university tries to bribe them with. Although I dont like it, I have more respect for those who wont give Illinois a sniff.

weren't we recruiting him pretty hard? Also, is it impossible for Illinois to get a top TE? We seem to keep losing out on that position when it comes to top players.
Yup. Word on here for quite some time was that he was an Illini lean.
TE, and to some extent, OL prep recruiting has been much harder for BB than I would have anticipated given his run of NFL players at those positions at Wisky.

pretty hard? try super rock hard. both of his parents are Illini alums.

Is it the ability to get paid while in high school that is tipping the scales THAT much for MO?

I HATE EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW

Didn’t they change the law in Illinois so players could start getting paid in high school.

I don’t know about the state of Illinois. But living in St Louis, it’s been law for over a year now in Missouri.

Big reason some of these football and basketball commits to Mizzou are sticking with them.

Previously, we got almost no recruits from Kentucky, and no one on our current roster is from that state. From comments in this thread, someone (probably new) on our staff has connections there and is bringing in a quality group of recruits for official visits. I always like seeing us cast our recruiting net in new territory, extending our reach.
