Keep in mind also, the best team doesn't always win, especially in a single game scenario. That's the beauty of the NCAA tournament, give anybody a chance and they might take it. Even if you have a 90% chance to win, that means odds are 1 in 10 of those teams will lose. Didn't happen so much last year, so this early chaos here is a refreshing change.

Even if everyone's bracket is blown up (go Siena!).

Last year was a disappointment, and I don’t think anyone should disagree.

I disagree. Seeing all the 1-seeds play was extremely high-level basketball. Google says it's only happened twice since the tournament expanded, so it was like an upset in its own way.

There are tournaments when upsets just don't happen, last year was one of those but this year looks like one where Madness reigns supreme.

This is the first year where every single top 4 seed was a double digit favorite in their first round matchup.

There were FOUR teams last year with a +35 net rating on Kenpom.

This year there are THREE.

The top teams are now monopolies, almost (not fully) to the level of college football.

Nebraska's win marks the last P5 team that hadn't won an NCAA tournament game. With that out of the way we look at the longest P5 team drought since winning a tournament game, and we get....SMU, who last won a tournament game in 1988.

At least they have a chance this....oh, that's a shame.

Yeah, Duke is off. They are settling for 3's and getting dominated in almost every area.

I know they have some injury concerns, but they look like they are indifferent for the tourney right now.
