Well done boys. I don't feel good about the Houston game, but we're playing with house money now.

What are the possible game times for Thursday?

The last time Illinois played a tournament game on my birthday 😁😁😁

Last time the beloved played on my birthday, April 2nd was 1989. I can still feel all the fun of that day and season crash and burn with a Meechigan put back. We don't seem to play in April much,,,, let's change that

Yes it will be. Guaranteed it will be packed with Cougars fans. Edit: it’s 4 miles from campus to Toyota Center.
If it is, then the secondary market made a killing and a lot of Houston fans took out a ton of credit card debt. This isn’t 2005. Most of the tickets are sold well before anyone knows who is playing where because sponsors have the tickets. Since Houston wasn’t a 1 seed, no one knew they could play in Houston until last Sunday.

Gotta bring it. Cougars can be beat but it may take their best game of the year. Similar effort as the Missouri game.

Everyone that was complaining about the refs and VCUs physicality will need to prepare for next week.

Houston's defense is built around being so physical that the refs cant call everything and they've got the reputation for being elite defensively and not fouling so the refs don't call them for anything.
That’s exactly right.

I think the one chance we have against Houston is if we shoot lights out from 3. They are just a team full of dogs. Obviously, not a fan of Sampson, but he finds the types of players I would love to have on my teams.
Hopefully the Illini show up and make a game of it.
I would hope this wouldn't be the case. You really think this is the only chance Illinois has?

I could be wrong here, but is it fair to say VCU's intensity is very similar to Houston's? I'd say, "yes."

Now, Houston has more talent, so that's obvious. However, this Illinois team matched the intensity tonight and blew them out of the building.

This was definitely a great tune-up for the next game. Illinois will now know what to expect.

Is Houston great offensively this year? I may be wrong, but I don't think they're that great.

I believe Vegas may have Houston as a two-point favorite. To me, that's a pick 'em.

Going to require a top flight effort mentally and physically to beat Houston in essentially a true road game. Fortunately this team has shown they can absolutely lock in for those games.

That being said absolutely no shame if this as far as we go this year.
