Get a solid point guard and a sharp shooting 2 and we are contending again next year. A lineup of transfer PG, sharp shooting 2, Bilic, Mirk and Z. Bench Devis, AS if he is here and the freshmen class will make us deep.
Bilic isn't starting on next year's team ahead of Andrej unless something has gone terribly wrong. And Davis will have a much bigger role than him next season, too. JMHO.
I think he will start. Davis will be the sharp shooting bench guy getting 20 minutes a game.
Bilic was a Jakstys type addition. No chance he’s starting, and definitely not ahead of Jake and Andrej.

I get that we have prominent European players, but this narrative seems so disingenuous when our best player / breakout star is an overlooked freshman from Middle America and our starting point guard is a hometown hero Champaign local!
I also hate how Stoj gets rolled into the "Eastern European" discussion with no context. The guy grew up in California.
