The memory of that RJ Melendez technical foul when we last played Houston in 2022 is still so fresh. We probably would've lost anyway to a very good Houston team, but that foul hurt so much for a team that fought so hard to stay alive. This feels so good as revenge, and even some extra revenge against Kelvin Sampson from 2006. Keep up the good work, don't look down on Iowa, and we've got a great shot at the Final Four.
I have been very critical of Brad and this staff a lot. That was an absolute masterpiece.
