FF baby!

My wife and I were at a 50th anniversary this afternoon. I made sure we left in time to get home in time. As we were leaving she told me she wanted to go to dinner. ARRRGGG.
*Thought in my head* "She is more important than a basketball game. SIGH." I told her about it when we were sitting at the table. She feels more important so that's points for me.
The first half was kind of a disaster to no harm no foul.
We got home in time to watch the second half.

It was a win win.

Indy, here we come!!!

I monitored the score in the second half and after a couple of surges, the Hawkeyes just ran out of gas.

CONGRATULATIONS, ILLINI!!!

So proud of this team and group of players! They are a great representation for our school and the program. They play so unselfishly and with joy. They care for one another and you can tell that their off court chemistry and has now fully translated on the court! Go Illini!

Drej is MVP of the entire tournament so far. Shut off crewcut’s water the last 6-7 minutes and was outstanding on offense again.
Best run he's been on for us all season. Clear example as to why Brad wanted him. We seeing the length, size and athleticism not only being applied to his scoring of course but we're also finally seeing him applied those traits of his on the defensive end. Did a banger job on Stirtz.

I had a house full of hs sophomores here in Gilbert AZ and had to explain the significance (and make them sign an NDA) to watch this game with me. Hard to fathom my 16 year old son wasn’t alive in ‘05. On top of that my dad was here and we were in the Metrodome in 89. Just awesome!!

Stojakovic hate will not be tolerated around here. He won this for us on both ends. His defense on Stirtz was the game changer.
I know we pay him a LOT, but it's not NEARLY enough!
