I was yelling at the TV that he's a big tub of goo. My wife looked at me funny so I had to explain how much Illinois fans dislike the cheater.
If you lie and cheat on your wife you will be and cheat on anyone.
Our offensive plan didn't change. We ran the exact same sets and used the same ball screen sets. The difference? Iowa didn't bring outside cover to help on the drives. So there were very few pick and pop and even fewer drive and kick outs. Keaton and Andre' were able to get to the rim and Iowa really couldn't guard Tomi or Mirk. In the second half when we scored 7 consecutive time down the floor, I was literally able to tell my wife and grandaughter what play we were running and who was going to score. That's how identical the sets were to what we have run all year. When Tyler sent Z for Tomi I was able to yell back at Van Gundy that Illinois was going to run the baseline and Z was going to dunk.
Now if I could see that, so could every other fan that has been following this team all year.
Our points in the paint came because that's what Iowa gave us - Kudos to players and the coaches (it took about 4 minutes of the first half) those were the best read and recognition (matchups) both offensively and defensively this team has played this year.
Looking at it slightly differently: After falling behind 12-2 early in the game. We dominated the last 35 minutes and outscored Iowa by 22. That was some of the most precise basketball I have ever seen an Illinois team play.

Just cannot be overstated the fits our O-Rebounding has given coaches fits.
First we have the most efficient offense by points per possession — but if you do manage to play good defense and we have a bad shooting night, you have to deal with 4-5 maniacs crashing the glass at all times.
