Have enjoyed this season so much, and the team this season really exceeded my expectations

I feel like this tournament run will make Brad a better coach than he already has been. He and the staff coached there butts off during this run. A lot of weight on his shoulders to make the final 4 has been lifted and he knows he belongs. Sometimes a coach can get confidence just as a player can. I think he might coach a little more loose which can help players in high stress games. I definitely think we will be back fighting for a title with him as our coach. I’m fired up for next season already!

This was a great team on a great run and brought back all the joy of previous FF runs. These players will take their place among the all-time greats for the Illini. It has been fun going through this transition to relevance again with this forum and it is super to read all of the positives that has generated. Let’s do this (plus a bit more) next year and meanwhile collect some great memories with our new improved football program!

Wonderful season. The important thing is we are recruiting at a high level, so we should be in the mix for Final Fours and national titles every season.

I will say this. Id rather have classy leaders and coaches like Brad Underwood than win with a cocky !!! like Dan Hurley as the leader or face of our program. Brad even said our players are amazing young men. Brads a good leader. Having just watched the press conference i think somethings are more important than winning to me. Maybe Hurley is the right coach for some Universities or players but i wouldnt want him near my kids the way he acts like a cocky entitled !!!. Indiana fired a hall of fame coach and i wont be shocked if that happens one day at UConn. The Eomens coach did the same crsp yesterday too. He is a jackass and i wouldnt like him as my coach no matter what.

Stagnant offense with too much of Keaton simply dribbling the ball out top looking for a driving angle, not enough bite on defense, no-one attacking except for Andrej, and tight shooting.

From the jump it looked like the lights were too bright for us at this point.

Getting to the Final Four is a huge accomplishment, no doubt about it. Now we just need to act like we belong there next time.

They will all say they are coming back, probably not official until May/June. Really want Mirk, Andrej, Tomi, Big Z, Davis. Q Coleman and Jalen Cox gives you a nice 8 man rotation. Ty possibly 9rh man.
