Andrej's an interesting case.
He grew his game here, and is with a great program, with great teammates.
So, I don't think he'd leave for more money.
But what if BU figures they overpaid last year, and would ask Andrej to take a pay cut??
Maybe the additional donor NIL funds will make that not happen.

President Trump probably knows it won't hold up in court, it's possible it may just be an attempt to get congress to do something that will. IMO players should be allowed one free transfer, plus a penalty free one if a coach is fired or changes schools. After that they should be required to sit a season.

Again, these are technically still “student”-athletes. Does software engineering major have consequences because he transfers from Purdue to Illinois for a better opportunity and more money?

If the professor of his most important courses goes from Illinois to Cal, then Cal to UCLA, does he have consequences if he wants to follow the guy he thinks gives him the best opportunity at success?

If all he’s doing is bag chasing I feel like that doesn’t fit the rest of what the staff wants. He’s worth a good bag for sure, but we don’t need to risk other “pillars” Brad talked about if he’s not willing and able to fit in seamlessly.

Point guard by numbers,Blackwell needs to show PG skills to enhance his draft stock,Coleman has the handles to play the point also.

I don't follow the names as closely as I used to but one thing I would like to see us upgrade is the ability to go just a bit deeper into the bench. Maybe 10 deep even if just a few minutes. Of course that takes a role player type that you can trust to not kill you. But I think it pays off in spades both during the regular season & at the end of the year.

I suspect part of our issue Saturday & even during the tourney in general was fatigue. Playing 8 guys for pretty much the whole year has a cumulative effect. I understand why it was done. Just hope we can improve that area a bit. With the tv timeouts, you can get a guy 3 or 4 minutes a game & buy one of your staters or key bench players a solid 10 minutes of bench time. That can be massive at the end of games. And say you save him 4 minutes a night. That's like 3 games worth of time by the end of the year.

Maybe a minor thing but it can be a major thing at the end. I'm sure Brad would like to go deeper in the bench. Of course the portal & the "get mine" mentality makes that a harder challenge than ever. Used to be a role for your good freshman to get some spot minutes. Now that guy bails at end of year if he doesn't play during the year.

Andrej gives me those "he shouldn't leave since he started to kick !!! on a good team by the end of the season and should be happier now vibes" and then we find out he's leaving.

If anyone is in his inner circle on here, lmk if buying his jersey would move the needle for him at all.
