Wagler would have how many more assists if Jake and Ben just made the damn shot!!!!Given not a single player averaged 10 assists this year, the bar may be set too high in general with this approach.

In addition to the ten assists, this guard needs to average twelve rebounds and five steals.Lol, I love these posts. There were precisely zero players who averaged 10 assists a game last season in all of D1 and only 5 players in the entire Big 10 who averaged half that (5 assists per game), and none of those 5 played for our team that just went to the Final Four. Yet we NEED someone who is going to average 10, or what, I guess we are going to suck?
And 25 points. Also make it 10 steals. If it's not a quadruple double average, what are we even doing? In addition to the ten assists, this guard needs to average twelve rebounds and five steals.
Happened last year tooBoswell was a good defender. For some reason, his defense fell off a cliff along with is 3 shooting. Still love him, but it sure was inconvenient.
Enjoy the bench Devin. If you're starting, which I hope you are, you're right where the rest of us want UConn.Couple more B1G portal entries this afternoon:
Dylan Grant (F, Rutgers)
Dominick Stewart (G, Penn State)

Going to work on getting stats added to the sheet tonight (but maybe in the morning...)
In non-Illini recruiting news:
Collin Chandler with a crystal ball to BYU
Devin Royal with a crystal ball to UConn
Is this a fact? Is there a limit? If I won Powerball, could I drop 50M$ into the pot? There’s no way you can have Blackwell and Pryce while retaining the guys we want to. It’s either or here. Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. We can lust about both of them but it’s no more realistic than Sydney Sweeney becoming the second incarnation of the F$&@ Yeah girl.
Sounds like NBA year 2 for Riley in college. Don't think he is allowed to come back to us.So we agree… we’re looking for a 25 ppg scorer who can average 8 rebounds per game along with 10 assists… AND be a fit for our system. As long as that person’s willing to play the Ben role, I say pull the trigger.
And with those numbers and size, he'll have to unfortunately tell the NBA thanks, but no thanks.....I'd rather have 2nd guy off the bench NIL money. So we agree… we’re looking for a 25 ppg scorer who can average 8 rebounds per game along with 10 assists… AND be a fit for our system. As long as that person’s willing to play the Ben role, I say pull the trigger.

Would they go after Massamba Diop?
Nice balance of stats for Vaaks. Height 6’7”, 16 pts, 35% on 3s, 1.5 A-TO ratio. Lot to like here.
Don't sell Jake short. I could see him really thriving in Nebraskas, Wisconsins or Iowas offense. He could definitely start at several p4 schools.Maybe he can go back to Mercer and play 35 minutes a game. I assume if he leaves he will go down a level and play full time.
F that we are getting Pryce Sandfort now!! It's all gonna work... ILLThe absolute best thing about this portal season so far is we enjoy 35% three point shooters now all of the sudden after hydrogen-fire flaming Ben Humrichous for two years of shooting that same percentage
There’s a 0% chance he’d come in with the Ben role. Would be arguably your best player.Double his NIL and give him the Ben role …
That’s an upgrade for us …
Yeah that is not happeningWould take hiring Nick Irvin to get him …
Hopefully he’s intentional about being seen hooping in Illini gear… just wishful thinking.Stojakovic back in Irvine, CA training (In Illini Gear)… not sure what to make of it. Quite the quick departure from Champaign, but unsure if that’s normal after season is over?!
Username checks out…
