So the takeaway is…we’re gonna be in the National Championship Game!
I think it will be orange script for both. It's a unique jersey for this team and that way they can bring them back as a throwback 20+ years down the road

Not sure if Nike thinks we're at our "limit" for uniforms or if perhaps they're willing to show us some more love after a Final Four run, but busting out either (A) a 2005 throwback or more likely (B) a White Flyin' Illini uniform for the home game where we hoist this year's Final Four banner is just too damn perfect and needs to happen!

This is one I really don’t want to see. We have four excellent uniforms right now. The only three additions I’d like to see are:
1) A white Flying Illini set in 1989 colors
2) A navy script to match the 1970s version (orange script, white trim)
3) A special edition 2005 throwback in orange or white

I need somebody to square the circle for me on the weird Nike angst when we currently - with Nike - have arguably the best set of uniforms in the country.

I hope you weren’t counting my post in any sort of “angst” category, haha, because it wasn’t that.
A little more white trim north & south and that sucker starts to pop. It then breaks it up and looks less drab; IMO.
We need a prototype, stat.
