I get he's buddies with the twins but it's also legitimately the savviest move I think I've ever seen a college athlete make.
He's not going to play in the NBA but he's got good size, can shoot, and is fundamentally sound and now he's got an agent with relationships all over Europe that will get him on a pro roster.
Huge advantage over an American agent or former AAU coach that acts as one.

According to their coach it was. They only hang banners for titles.
Im not saying making a final four is not great. Heck I loved this year. I went to the airport for the return for Houston and would do it again in a heartbeat.
But I don’t think it hurts to come right out and take it on. If the remaining chips fall our way the team will approach it that way. Don’t be afraid of it. Take it the fk on. Maybe we don’t do it but don’t back off from it.
Don’t know who has seen the nc state 30 for 30 where they talk about how valvano had em practice cutting down the nets each year at a practice. He always expected to do it. And when it came he was ready for the moment.

Folks should lock in the Illini future odds now. It was at about +2000 as of yesterday. We could very quickly be approaching Duke and Michigan odds between +600 and +1000.

Pressure smessure. These guys didn’t play scared this year. They just shot like crap agains UConn. They didn’t play scared. Didn’t back down. Just didn’t put the ball in the hole.
They belonged physically they belonged mentally. There’s no reason to not say we’re going for the whole thing. I hope Brad is drilling that !!!! in their head every single day. Expect it and believe it.
