Losing Wagler is huge obviously, and I think the prognosticators will have a few different teams to talk about for the top spot by the time the season rolls around. But there's no question in my mind we'll be one of the ones in the discussion for #1. The roster construction at this early stage is phenomenal. Just from the stand-point of having great guys to root for we're #1 :)

Keep dre and add Blackwell and we should be the best team to start the season (although if Louisville keeps stacking players they might get the number 1 ranking on hype).

To be the number 1 team at the end of the season will take health, gelling over the summer, our top 7 guys playing towards the top of their game, and at least 1 more guy either via transfer or freshman production putting up major contribution towards the back half of the season into the tournament. ....and a little luck.

Louisville won’t even finish top of the ACC. Spend all they want. I’ll take Duke and Miami over them still.

(As for IU, a couple years ago they had the #2 class with Luke Goode and we still went into Bloomington and whooped em. We ain’t scared of IU and Mizz-who)

I wouldn't bet on them either but pre season liked them this year, will even more next year. Ill still bet on an unknown duke vs a known Louisville at this point.
