Ty Rodgers in the portal.
I assume it’s because of this:
I get it for both sides, but dang. Sad.

Sad to see this. I have nothing but admiration and respect for this young man. I wish him the best of luck, in whatever his life brings him, and hope to see him back at the State Farm center often. Thanks for all the support Ty!
He was awesome, and even as a total non-shooter was an every-game starter on the #3 offense in the country because of the impact his energy and passing had, and also because all four of his teammates were shooters. (Which we could have replicated with him next year)It's probably overstating it, but he was the guy to always get the rebound. He was the guy who could get to the rim. And we sorely didn't have enough of either anywhere on the roster, so he ended up with the ball more than he should have.
It's more a comment on the massive upgrade the roster has seen over the past few years.
I get it, after a year of starting and two years of not playing for one reason or another, there's places at P4 destinations where there are roles bigger than "10th guy off the bench that plays 5-7 minutes a game behind Mirkovic".Bingo …
Tried to hint at it earlier this AM …
Hate seeing Ty go but the role just likely wasn’t going to be there for him next year …
I do think Lee could step into that role …
