So I am a glass half empty person most of the time. Trying to change that up.

My glass half full take is that if he misses a more significant length of time, Brad gets to play some freshman that otherwise would not have hardly sniffed the court and they get game experience and maybe end up turning out to be impactful come March.

Well this sucks. The one guy with size to match up with guys that can bang in the post at the 4. It was of little concern to many and now its a major one until he heals up. Jason may be in the rotation now to try and defend those larger guys while Mirk heals. Get well fast Mirk.

Vaaks could spend some time defending the four. Biggest rotation player after Tomi and Z. Not worried about offense but Need Mirk’s rebounding.

So just to change the subject a bit to a more positive topic, a couple of questions for our insiders?

How hard is Lincoln Williams to screen and will he play more than 15 minutes against UConn?

We might have just lost our best player for the first 1-2 months of the season. Brad scheduled the way he did thinking we'll have our full team.

Are we sure about that?

I think the staff's philosophy on this is they view the strength of schedule as a win for both program visibility but also because it really doesn't hurt you.

Even if we have no David, I still think this is a what? Top 15-20ish group. And Brad would schedule aggressively with that as well.

Well, going into a season without David ever existing is DIFFERENT from going into a season with him... just for him to not be available and get hurt.

It's just too much to be asking for another "marque game" - when your best player who the staff built and planned the entire offense around - could be out for a significant portion of the non conference.

Where are you getting this 2 months of the season stuff? That would be an early January return... if you break your foot at the end of July and don't come back until January its because you've broken the other foot in November haha.

Besides conference games is there an incentive to even buy season tickets for home games? Going to be alot of tickets going for sale for the non conference schedule
