Going for it there was incredibly stupid
I have no issues with going for it, just a stupid play call of a sneak when Swift would have made it. Even a roll out bootleg might have worked. Anything but a QB sneak.
With a lead on the road in the second quarter, going for it at the 20 yard line rivaled any questionable call in any game yesterday. Sheesh.
Well that was certainly a first half lol. About what we expected from offense even with the sloppy start. Defense is gonna need to make stops because I can see this being a "which team has the ball last" type of game.

This Bears defense is pretty bad. But the difference in the game is the two short fields they gave the Panthers on the opening drive turnover and the stupid stupid forth down decision. Carolina seems to have made an adjustment on defense, Bears need a td here. Williams has missed a couple wide open passes to the tight ends this half.
So I guess Illini basketball and football, the Bears and Cubs all have something in common.
