Game Thread: Illinois at Michigan State

[Illinois_2_AZ]

This is big. It helps rebuild confidence and improves Bret's recruiting sales pitch during the bye week.

[aaeismacgychel]

That was a fun game. Almost named our first child Imatorbhebhe

[LGIllini]

Love to see it. They can still go 9-3 and the way it looks right now the playoffs could still be in reach

[TentakilRex]

Rush 3 - doomed
Rush 4 -meh
Rush 5- good things start to happen

[FloridaMan]

Well, D was playing so well

[pvaughn8]

Defense hit their quota for stops early

[TheodoreRex]

Back to prevent defense lol

[Mr. Tibbs]

time for the first quarter D to come back in

[Altgeld's Bells]

Our LBs look lost.

[New Creation]

[BWBW]

Toughen up

[TheodoreRex]

Lol- this is the Illinois I know... I was wondering where it went- Literally couldn't have made it any easier for them to march down than field than we just did.

[dsg]

Well, that sucked.

[JKR]

There's the defense we've come to know.

[TentakilRex]

That was the return of classic Illini defense

[zentrails]

Hell of a game thus far by Illinois. Hell of a game. Go out there D and keep this going. Absolutely love what I’m seeing

Porous D has returned, crap

[Pikeillinifan]

Long drive here, get at least three and get into the half.

[Mr. Roberts]

Our defense ...

[aaeismacgychel]

I think they called the same touchdown play we did. Okay O let’s get down the field and finish this half with a TD

[Marshall_Lucky]

Ok time to regroup and score again

[skyIdub]

Oh I remember this now!

[AssemblyHallForever]

Three defenders ran into each other as they had an easy pitch and catch

[SuperMetroid]

There’s that D we all know and don’t like

[Ramrod2010]

Gross.

Finish the half with another score and all is well.

[BWBW]

Let's get it back.
