Uncles and grandpa as informal QB coachesI have never understood the Arch Manning hype, there is nothing about his play that stands out.

I said it last week and was just talking to my wife about it again. Purdue is good. The record fools you but those 3 losses were to very very good teams.Maybe Purdue is no longer awful? They have dominated Minnesota so far.
Idk its been a game so far as Bama vs Georgia and both teams could win it all. I'd say thats still cachet and the sad truth from a big ten fan best game ive watched this weekend so farNIL and the portal have leveled the playing field to such a degree that scanning the full day's matchups at 8 am, nothing jumps out as a marquee game any longer. Traditional powers are weakened, nobodies are beating somebodies regularly. Sounds good theoretically but in practice, idk. Somebody v somebody often turns out to be a lousy game. GA v 'Bama no longer has the cachet it had a few years ago. It's more like roulette. Strange times. Has to be driving the tv people nuts.
Which is good, as it makes Michigan look even worse.Purdue taking Minny to the woodshed!

Forces OT and in the bizarro version of our game, opts to go for 2 and get it. Down goes KiffinKentucky misses back to back fg attempts to tie the game late
Purdue is not who we thought they were . . .Minnesota 25 yards rushing so far Purdue 274.
You could also say the Illini are getting Oregon in a down year at home. Too bad Illinois is in a down year too.Among other frustrations, Illinois can’t get the schedule luck down.
All of a sudden Purdue is competent, UW happens to be a mess this year. UCLA all of a sudden is great, but terrible last year.
We get OSU in back to back years, but don’t get Michigan for either those years.
Probably sour grapes.
So could we.If Purdue wins, Minny’s schedule get really hard with home against Iowa, UCLA and Northwestern. Road games are at Indiana, PSU and Wisconsin. Minny could lose out.
Doubtful it is warm at all. I then looked at their remaining games...yikes (Iowa, @IU, UCLA, @Penn State, NW, and @Wisconsin). That is a brutal stretch, and they may not even make a bowl after starting 4-1 (and their wins over Washington and Michigan are likely not as impressive as it initially seemed). How hot is Fleck’s seat?
I knew they would be a tough out after watching their performance in Pasadena. It was a loss, but you could see the year over year improvement. I think people discounted them after playing Notre Dame, which was a mistake. What if Purdue is meh instead of bad?
Not at all.How hot is Fleck’s seat?
That was my point. Their schedule going out is brutal. They may end up at best 5-7. They could easily lose out as well. But they may be satisfied with going 8-5 on average like they have done over the past two years. I doubt he can get them back up to the 11-2 as hard as the conference now is. Going to be a tough row for that team.
100% correct. His last name is Manning. If it was Cincoski he would be chucking it at Arkansas StUncles and grandpa as informal QB coaches
I doubt we lose to Maryland. I am excited to see what Clayton can do with two weeks to prepare for Oregon. So could we.
