My concern isn't the offense. This Bears defense holding Atlanta under 30 is hard to fathom. Those safeties are so green. Atlanta has the best back in the league, so they need to provide run support and their receivers are big plat guys, so they have to keep the cap on the defense. Tough assignment.

In preparation for today’s game, I watched the new Hallmark Christmas movie—yeah, they start VERY early—featuring Chicago and the Bears. It was pretty good, so I take it as a predictor of how things will turn out.

Agree. The hold by Wright and the missed FG completely changed the game.

A missed FG especially a long one gives the opposition momentum due to the good field position. Atlanta took advantage of that so it’s the Bears turn to grab it back.

That botched punt flipped momentum back. The Bears has lost it with three backbreaking penalties and a missed kick. Instead of up 14-7 with Atlanta having the ball at the end of the first half and beginning of the second....they go into the 3rd up 21-7. What an enormous break.

Bears offense looking much better with Caleb back. Defense has been able to get stops when they've needed them though they haven't had to be on field much with how much Bears have dominated time of possession.
