So....only a matter of time before Will Wade recruits him?Kerr Kriisa pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud. Remember when a bunch of people here wanted us to recruit him as a transfer? Is and always has been a nutjob.
I remember the insiders saying the staff wouldn’t touch him.Kerr Kriisa pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud. Remember when a bunch of people here wanted us to recruit him as a transfer? Is and always has been a nutjob.
They only have 4 players right now so that's a distinct possibility LOLSo....only a matter of time before Will Wade recruits him?
So apparently this is money that goes towards the revenue sharing, which for each athletic department is capped at $21.6 million across all sports. This is very interesting.
Goodman acting like the NCAA is above reproach here is just as laughable as Kelsey. The NCAA told people the rules for year and either didn't enforce them or only enforced them against the little guy. North Carolina can prop up a fake degree program for athletes, but Caltech can't let students shop around for courses for the first three weeks of the semester (free link).Kelsey elbowing his way into the Nate Oates/Will Wade room:
Talking of interesting developments in the eligibility soap opera….
Not defending their feckless behavior in the past, but are they not capable of reform? The articles linked are over a decade old which is light years away from today's landscape.Goodman acting like the NCAA is above reproach here is just as laughable as Kelsey. The NCAA signed its own death warrant by being a corrupt sham, and now we are left with whatever the heck college sports is now.

It turns out it's a lot easier to burn a system down and destroy trust than it is to rebuild that. Are they capable of reform? Sure. Can they rebuild the level of trust required to have that kind of moral authority before the government legislates their power away? I remain doubtful. Not defending their feckless behavior in the past, but are they not capable of reform? The articles linked are over a decade old which is light years away from today's landscape.
Especially since they haven't really shown a willingness to do so....It turns out it's a lot easier to burn a system down and destroy trust than it is to rebuild that. Are they capable of reform? Future recruiting pitch: "We let freshmen earn playing time and we reward hard work over the offseason. What we won't do is panic sign a 6-year transfer right before to season to take away playing opportunities from those players who've been with us all summer."
Some bad things are Self-inflicted...
While it's abbreviated this year, this has been going on for a few years now, and fortunately this approach has not produced the super-team juggernaut that folks fear will be the death of CBB. To me, this signals desperation internally for Kansas way more than "let's make a big bet because this is the year."The question of whether these pro returning additions empower or destabilize their new teams is going to be enormously important to our season, I fear/hope
if it helps, I'm pretty sure Kansas will be a dumpster fire with all of those personalities clashing at some point and Bill self looking over it all
