Game Thread: Illinois at Maryland

[illinidarrin]

It's nice to see Trimble step up.

[Mr. Tibbs]

finally

[kyillinifan]

Finally

[Second place is 1st loser]

Outside of the first drive, Hauser has been solid. Dixon dropped a TD and he also dropped a 3rd and short.

[New Creation]

[FloridaMan]

Good job, BT! And Nice throw! Let's not let anything crazy happen here and get off the field and come back out with intent to win a game!

[RIP_Chief_2003]

Wow nice adjustment on a bad throw…

[Ryllini]

Money. Nice throw and catch. Love it

[PizzaHutParkingLot]

Someone smack the offense and Lunney at halftime.

The flashes of brilliance make their inconsistency even more maddening

[Scoregasm]

[TentakilRex]

TD Mt Zion Brave

[CDRUSN]

And finally...

[Marshall_Lucky]

Shake off rust against a bad opponent

[aaeismacgychel]

Wow! Hell of a push off by Trimble there to get space for the TD. Huge huge huge drive to tie this up

[Dr Copejam]

[eas23]

Houser has the same number of completions and 50 more yards than Clayton had in the entire game last week.

[Illini2010-11]

Illinois dominated the middle 8 last week against Oregon, and that was the real difference in the game.

So far, so good there today. Really needed that td with MD getting ball coming out of half.

[Illini-Rule]

Nice!

[altgeld88]

1. We should be up at least 21-0

2. Both teams would be fairly competitive in the Ivy League

[ChiefGritty]

You could easily call that OPI. We have some VERY friendly zebras today.

[skyIdub]

So, mildly sick for one half….then dominate?
Like the Oregon game!

ITS A BLUEPRINT!!

[The pop of Champaign]

Excellent effort by the defense. Huge drive to end the half. Horrible offense, yet we are tied

[BWBW]

We have them right where we want them.

[illinoistradition]

We had our lowest offensive output of the season against Oregon.

As to somewhat be expected. Oregon’s defense is stout. They have multiple future NFL players on it.

Houser stepped up on this last drive. It still felt like something needed to be done to spark this offense. We are no doubt lucky that the defense has really stepped up.

[Chase321]

Great job by our fans at the game! You can hear the ILL INI cheer in the broadcast!

Doesn’t seem like the opportunity to win free tuition motivated many students to go.
