This is the definition of a trap game. That phrase gets used way too much on here, but this is one of the times you can actually say it. Don't be surprised if this game is in the single digits in the second half.

I kind of hope they do push us. It would be interesting how long Brad rolls with playing everyone, or if he tightens it up and leans on Stoj/Vaaks/Coleman.

Agree. They played us pretty tight for a half or so in the NCAAT, and the main reason we pulled ahead was they didn’t have an answer for Mirk. Well, we are Mirkless.

I expect a much more competitive game.

I may be in the minority but I am hoping Morillo gets to start. Watching him the other night was fun. The kid literally does everything on the court including rebounding like a dog. No hesitation with the ball. Bring Vaaks off the bench. We will be fine without Jake. Hopefully it's not for too long. This has to be the best recruiting class since way back. All of these kids can play and they are unselfish. We are deep but we do lack some experience. Starting 3 Frosh is unbelievable but a possibility until Mirk or Jake get back. I even thought Davis played good. The kid has a stroke.

One of my favorite things about the rotation last night was the fresh lungs when guys came off the bench, especially from QC. I should go back and watch it but I swear every time he sat for a few minutes and came back in, it was like putting a torpedo on the floor. That kid is so fast.

That said, it seems like the goal with him will be improving his lateral movement on defense, I feel like there was a few times where he released his hips early and got burned by one of those quick guards.
