I got to campus in 1990 graduating in 1992, and have been watching the bias against Illinois for just as long. I'm not sure why or what it is exactly, but it's clearly there. If Wagler were playing for Duke, N. Carolina, Kansas etc., he would be atop the list for most of these awards.

Another promising year right in the toilet. Another 'good' year, instead of an 'exceptional' year when it's all done. ugh.....

The rankings are like voting for prom queen and unfortunately Illinois has long been the ugly, zitty red haired kid with braces in the eyes of whoever votes on this crap!! Illini lose to #1 and now #2 teams in the nation and Washington who rarely loses at home and they aren't ranked at 7-3...
