Wabbington is a 27 recruit. Betts is a 28 recruit.

Do you realize that no one on this board had Vaaks or Coleman on their radar at this point last year and now they’re leading our back court? Ipso facto, we’ll probably have a really good big or 2 ready to take over for T & Z at this point next year.

Toppin was injured in mid February and had surgery in mid March. Typical ACL surgery recovery is 9-12 months and we play them November 10th. It’s not impossible he’s back by then, but I’d be surprised if he was.

Fair enough. Just using Duke as an example since that’s who you used in your example. I also don’t think they could poach from us no matter what, just that it’s possible if they wanted to.

I’m gonna push back on this thought.. I don’t think conference affiliation has anything to do with coach poaching. It doesn’t matter that there is no Duke in the Big Ten. Duke still exists and they can come take our coach if they wanted. It happened with Self and Kansas.

You’re thinking of ‘27 recruit Jaylan Mitchell. Constanza is not from Illinois.

? A year ago very few, if any, on here knew who Coleman or Vaaks were.

It’s not that cut and dry though. Kentucky is throwing money at anyone and everyone but has missed out on so many top targets because Pope appears to be a poor recruiter.

It would be a lot cleaner if they just started the 5 in 5 with next year’s players. Similar to how they did the Covid rule.

Daydream about how awesome we’re gonna be.

That’s correct. It’s somehow morphed into back to back injured seasons for some people.

Yes we all know Ayo was a winning player. That’s not the point. The point is why would anyone want to kick Jake to the curb for someone else who isn’t even necessarily better when Jake has been here for 2 years, has played big minutes here, made clutch shots, made winning plays, is well liked by...

KJ wore #32.. Riley wore #7

Haha not really sure.. Better lighting?? I did get the 89s new as a group (not counting Lou) and I got the 05s individually off of eBay so maybe there’s a little wear in those.
