I really hope UNC beats VCU tonight. My friend (a UNC fan) and I have been waiting for an Illinois vs UNC tourney game for basically our whole lives.

I remember being 9 years old playing 2k against the CPU. If I was losing by too much with too little time left, I would change the user sliders to all 99s and the cpu sliders to all zeros and proceed to easily come back and win. This year's team is the CPU in this scenario.

Can we please get a Nick Boyd type in the portal next year? Or John Tonje? Or good version of AJ Storr? Or Terrence Shannon? Or just anyone who's remotely athletic and wants to win?

Something to note: Illinois and Michigan State are now tied for the 3rd 2 seed with an average seed of 2.07 (MSU was ahead by a few hundredths this morning). If MSU loses to UCLA and Illinois wins, then we might not have to worry about Iowa State passing us.

Plus getting a 3 seed means (potentially) playing a Houston, MSU, or UConn type team in the S16 as opposed to playing a Iowa St, Nebraska, Gonzaga, or Purdue type team.

Assuming Nolan Winters for Wisconsin is also out tomorrow, I would say we definitely want to play Wisconsin for an additional Quad 1 win. Hopefully Washington keeps it close and wears them out.
